My best friend of 30 years Mother, Charlene Timmons, has congestive heart failure and is at Gwinnett Medical. She is not doing very well as they cannot get her heart rate regulated. Please pray for her and the family. She is 87 years old and is struggling to breath without the oxygen mask on high. Please pray for the Lord's will in her situation, for the strength, comfort and peace for the family and friends.
Please lift up my parents, doctors and family. My mother is scheduled for brain surgery in the morning to remove a tumor which is suspected to be benign. The neurosurgeon does not foresee any complications. Thank you for your prayers.
Please pray for me and my health. I have been out of work for many months, and have recently lost my home. All of this added stress is making my health do some crazy things. Please pray for me and that I can stay healthy not only for myself, but for my family as well. I have always been a huge worrier, so please pray I can find the peace and faith I need. I know God is here, but I find myself so afraid that I doubt not only myself, but him as well.
We lost another Refugee friend this week tragically. Plu Meh was married and a father of (3) children. Plu Meh was rushed to the hospital after vomiting blood and passed away at the local hospital shortly after arriving. Please pray for us as we discern how to minister effectively to this family as they have lost their only income for the family.
We also have a praise for a recent prayer request. The little refugee girl, Kou Lu is being released from the hospital with a long road ahead of her. She is scheduled for 40 treatments to attack the cancer that is in her body, but the Lord has allowed her to be home and comfortable with her family.
Praise God and thank you for all the prayers.
My mom recieved surgery on her stomach and cancer is present. This is the forth location that cancer has shown up in her body. Please say a prayer for her.
Please pray for Jennifer Bunnell that she overcomes her rare leukemia and has a successful bone marrow transplant. Also please pray that she has no major complications during her bone marrow transplant. Thank you Jesus for allowing us to get this far and I have faith that you will heal Jennifer fully and answer our prayers. Thank you Jesus.
Please for Howard and Kathy Cook and their family - Kathy's father passed away this morning. He had been sick with Parkinson's disease and in a nursing home. Thanks for your prayers.
Please pray this moring for David and Lisa Hennessey, members of Graystone. A young man, TJ Fernandez, practically David and Lisa’s son, was killed this morning in a motorcycle accident here in Atlanta on his way home from work. David led TJ to the Lord and was a mentor in every way to him at a key point in his life as a teenager. TJ leaves behind Leah and 2 precious little boys. David and Lisa are in California right now at the Christian Alliance for Orphans Summit and their daughters are here so pray for them as they share this sad news with their daughters and pray for TJ's wife and sons as well.
We recently moved here from Colorado. We are seeking a church home where we can worship and be part of your community. We are requesting prayers for my daughter who is still in Colorado because of a DUI case. She goes back to court on May 11, and we are not sure what will happen. Please pray that the Lord will give her favor and that the Judge will not be too harsh on her. She knows the Lord, got involved with the wrong people and is having a hard time staying away from her "friends"
We are beginning to visit Graystone Church. We have a ministry that serves the International Refugees in the Clarkston/Stone Mountain community. These Refugees are her legally and have been placed there via various UN Resettlement Agencies. Anyway, through our relationships that have been built with the Karenni people group who are from Myammar (old Burma) we are actively involved in helping these people with medical issues. Yesterday we were advised a beautiful young girl, Kou Lu (age 13) has been diagnosed what they believe to be Leukemia. These people have very little income and the only insurance is Medicare. I am asking for a selfish prayer of healing for this little girl as they have been through so much already just to get here to the United States for a better life. Ultimately, I do want God to get Glory in whatever comes from this situation. The power of community prayer is so powerful and I would appreciate Graystone wrapping their arms around this girl in prayer.
